Own Your Power at Home
Generate your own electricity. Store more of it. Buy less from the grid.
Take greater control of your household energy with a renewable energy system designed around your home and the way you live.
Solmatix designs, installs and supports home solar panels, battery storage and EV charging systems across Northern Ireland. Our experienced local team will guide you through every stage, from your initial home survey to installation and ongoing aftercare.
No confusing jargon. No one-size-fits-all packages. Just clear advice and a system designed around your home, energy use and future plans.
Make more of your own energy
Your home already has the potential to generate clean electricity. Solar panels allow you to produce energy from your roof, while battery storage lets you save surplus electricity for later.
This can reduce the amount of electricity you need to buy from the grid and give you greater control over changing household energy costs.
Adding a home EV charger can help you use your own generated electricity to charge your vehicle safely and conveniently at home.
Solmatix brings these technologies together into one connected system designed around your property and household energy needs.
The greatest benefit comes from having a system properly designed around when and how your household uses electricity. That is why every Solmatix recommendation begins with your home, rather than a standard package.

A clear route to owning your power
Investing in renewable energy may feel like a major decision, but the process does not need to be complicated.
Our residential team will explain your options clearly, answer your questions and manage each stage of the installation.
Step 1 - Tell us about your home
Contact our residential team and provide some initial information about your property, energy use and the technologies you are considering. We may ask for recent electricity bills, photographs or basic information about your roof and electrical supply.
Step 2 - Home energy survey
A Solmatix specialist will assess your property, available roof space, orientation, shading, existing electrical arrangements and household energy requirements.
We will also discuss your current and future plans, including battery storage, electric vehicles or other changes that may affect electricity use.
Step 3 - System design
Our technical team will design a solution around your home and energy profile.
This may include solar panels, battery storage, EV charging or a combined home energy system. We will consider system size, equipment selection, positioning, expected generation and how the technologies will work together.
Step 4 - Your proposal
You will receive a clear proposal setting out:
- The recommended system
- Equipment included
- Installation requirements
- Estimated system performance
- Potential energy benefits
- Project cost
- Available payment or finance options
- Any assumptions or next steps
Our team will talk you through the proposal and answer your questions before you make a decision.
Step 5 - Installation planning
Once you decide to proceed, we will agree an installation date and explain how to prepare. Our team will coordinate the equipment, technical requirements and any relevant approvals or applications.
Step 6 - Professional installation
Your system will be installed by experienced Solmatix personnel in accordance with relevant technical and safety standards. We will treat your home with care and work to keep disruption to a minimum.
Step 7 - Commissioning and handover
Once installation is complete, we will commission and test the system.
We will show you how it works, explain the monitoring platform and provide the relevant system information and documentation.
Step 8 - Ongoing support
Our relationship does not end when the installation team leaves.
Solmatix remains available to provide technical support, aftercare and advice throughout the life of your system.
